Examination Preparation & Study Skills

Many students struggle with study skills due to executive function difficulties, impacting self-esteem and exam grades. We teach essential skills like essay planning, note-taking, reading techniques, effective revision, and exam strategies. Additionally, our higher order literacy lessons cover comprehension, summarisation, grammar, and the use of dictionaries and thesauruses.

Touch-Typing

Our tailored programs teach efficient typing techniques, boosting speed and accuracy while reducing physical strain. Experienced instructors use engaging methods and personalized assessments to ensure each student progresses at their own pace. Equip your child with the invaluable skill of touch typing for improved performance and future readiness.

Handwriting

Using a variety of resources, we ensure correct sitting positions and pencil grips, with a selection of left- and right-handed fountain pens for optimal writing comfort. Amanda McLeod, author and consultant for Scholastic's Handwriting series, provides handwriting assessments for exam accommodations and EHCP applications. As a judge for the SATIPS handwriting competition and a National Handwriting Association committee member, Amanda brings unparalleled expertise.

Afternoon, Weekend & Holiday Sessions

We offer after-school, weekend, and holiday classes for students aged 3-18 in a variety of subjects.
Our programmes include;

All lessons are individualised to ensure personalised attention.
Morning School

Children attend morning sessions up to five days per week, usually for 2-3 terms. After this period, they return to their school or home-school, or begin other activities such as Science, which we can organise.
The day starts at 8.50am and finishes at midday.
